Firearms Transfer Policy

Patriot Arms provides firearm transfer services for a very reasonable fee. Transfer fees are $25 per firearm/receiver + $5 FDLE background check fee. All transfers will have to be received from another FFL unless prior arrangements have been made. We apologize for the inconvenience, but far too many firearms have been received lacking proper I.D.

Other issues to keep in mind:

There is a 3 day waiting period for all handgun/long gun purchases/transfers unless you have a Florida concealed weapons license. Also, if you are military and do not have a Florida drivers license, you will need to provide a copy of your orders showing your permanent duty station, along with your active duty ID and a document showing your current physical address. Please be prepared with all of these documents when you come in to do the paperwork, this will greatly expedite the process.

PLEASE NOTE: The mandatory 3 day waiting period for purchases and transfers of firearms/receivers begins when the ATF form 4473 is initiated. If you have a Florida Concealed Weapons permit, there is no waiting period.

Firearms Storage Policy

Firearms transferred into the store and not picked up within 2 weeks, will incur a $10 per week/per gun storage fee.  Firearms or any accessories left for more than 6 months without prior arrangements will become the property of Patriot Arms.
